Terms of Service
Last updated June 7, 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and The Black Nile LLC(“we,” “us,” or “our”), the operator of David Weaver Books at davidweaverbooks.com (the “Service”). By using the Service or buying anything from us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Service
David Weaver Books is a direct-to-reader digital bookstore. We sell ebooks and Vault access that you read in your browser or download for personal use. Features, titles, and pricing may change over time.
Your account
Some features require an account, which is provided through our authentication partner. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to make a purchase.
Purchases and payment
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and payments are processed by PayPal. When you buy a book or Vault access, you receive a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to read and download that content for your own personal, non-commercial use. You do not acquire ownership of the underlying work or any intellectual property rights. You may not resell, share, sublicense, redistribute, or publicly post the files.
Digital delivery and refunds
Digital purchases are delivered immediately to your account. All sales are final — see our Refund Policy for details.
Acceptable use
- Do not share your account or distribute downloaded files.
- Do not attempt to circumvent access controls, scrape, or copy the catalog.
- Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Intellectual property
All books, text, cover art, and branding on the Service are owned by David Weaver and The Black Nile LLC or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. The license you receive on purchase is limited to personal reading as described above.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Black Nile LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above, and your continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which The Black Nile LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
